So here’s another mix that was made for Valentine’s Day made by New York’s The Rub.  Yes.  This mix is flirting with the sexy side R&B songs.  But Thump were right.  This is the R&B mix of all R&B mixes.  This takes me back a decade (give or take).

I just picked up that Pharrell is the one who says “I love you” in Kelis’ “Caught Out There”.  Startrak were slaying nearly every R&B track in the early 2000’s.  So rad.  Startrak, Timbaland,  & Ryan Leslie were huge in the early 2000’s.  I know music is constantly evolving.  But you just can’t feel nostalgic when you hear the tracks that you grew up with.
