This week is shaping up to be a killer week for music … Bruno last night, Brian tonight & Future Music Festival on Sunday (hoowah!).  But tonight definitely was a great night & of course, filled with some fun adventures.  🙂

So tonight, Melbourne was blessed with a great performance by the one & only, Brian McKnight, who performed at the beautiful Palais Theatre in St. Kilda.  We also had some killer seats in the 3rd row (thanks Bee for the awesome ticket ninja skills!).  Not only did Brian show Melbourne that he is a beautiful vocalist & musician.  But his personality & charisma was off the charts.  A real delight to watch the man perform with a band.  The last time I saw him, I was pretty wasted & it was just him, his piano & guitar.  No alcohol this time around!  I really enjoyed the show!  & now for some pics & vids.

My buddy ol’ pal, Bobby Love opened for Brian!  That was awesome as Bobby & his wife are big-time fans of Brian!

Brian played all of his hits.  His voice is so perfect.

 

& no show is a show without an after party.  So off we went to Fabrique to see Brian McKnight, Bruno Mars’ band & a handful of DJ’s that were playing at Future.  It was definitely one memorable night for the books!
